What is the Coordinate System (G54-G57) and what should I select- I'm running Grbl J-Tech 0.9g

Ok... better but no cigar yet. Settings on this were FR 50 FRC 35% Horizontal (tried one at 45 degrees - it seemed worse) Dither set to Threshold (seemed to do better than Atkinson) Max 255 Min 0 Note - I also added stain in parts to see if that would help the burn any...obviously it didn't. Any oth...

Also, if I use G91 G28 X0 Y0 Z0 will that command take me back to the home position I set prior to running?

Error - Resume?

So 6 hours into engraving I get a generic USB error and the engrave has stopped.

Is there a way for me to reboot and then resume from where it left off?

I have GIMP for an image editor but as far as what to do to enhance the image in the editor I really don't have a clue.

Ok... getting alittle better I did dither it using Atkinson. For pulse set to 0 and 255 Feed rate I changed to 100 in/min Turned off FRC What changes should I tweak from here? I did scale down the images so that it wouldn't take as long until I can get it to where it looks nice. First is on the oak ...

Where do i set the min 0 / max 255 to pulse? Is that the Random black / white settings? Thanks.

Help with settings

Using PEP5 Jtech Laser Feed rate is 80 inches/min Pixel Resolution .0060 inches Feed Rate Change 25% What changes can I make to improve the quality? Started with this image pappy-lg.jpg After running it a bit I killed the job as it was very hard to read pappy-engraved3.jpg The wood is white oak.
