Re: Carve Times

Thanks for the feed back. I understand what you are saying and it makes sense. If you are trying to price out your product and use carve time as a factor, which many people do, when this happens and it doubles or triples your time on the machine, then you product is being way under priced. Besides r...

Carve Times

I am relatively new with Picsender. Less than a year. Been using it for several carves. Today I got some weird completion times and I don't understand why. I use V-Carve to create the carve and then save the GRBL file. In V-Carve when I look at the estimated carve time it said 53 minutes. I had Pics...

Picsender and Triquetra 3 Axis

Been looking a the Triquetra 3 Axis Zero plate. Been through all the videos I could find. As of right now I have not been able to find one that talks about using it with Picsender. I am using V-Carve Desktop with Picsender. Very comfortable with that. Some of the videos talked about a Macro that you...

Re: New to GRLB need guidance

The GRBL settings are specific to machine. The ones I have will be specific to an X-Carve. But they will differ from another manufacturers machine?

Re: New to GRLB need guidance

OK. Thanks for the info.
I didn't know if this was a Picsender or Vcarve thing I needed to look at.
I will see what the settings are in Vcarve and go from there.

Thanks

New to GRLB need guidance

I have an X-Carve, Using V-carve and Picsender. (Graduated from Easel) Yesterday was my first try sending a file. Overall it went OK. I did not break anything!! Yesterday the Z axis was raising quickly during the carving but it was taking a very long time to come back down when it was carving. Today...
