Re: Jtech 3.8 Laser

Do you have the Safety Interlock on the driver board jumped? Did you press the Reset button after powering it up?

Re: Picsender and V-Carve

The Easel V-carve Post Processor gcode should work with PicSender too as they both use the same grbl that is loaded on your X-Carve controller.

Make sure you select the Vector Gcode in PicSender when running the V-Carve files.

Re: Pause in the middle of nc file

Hi Ed,

I recommend you download and install the latest version 2.8.0.1 of PicSender.

https://www.picengrave.com/PicSender.htm

If your running a Vector gcode file (from Cut2D Laser?), make sure you select the "Vector Gcode". If you run a Raster engraving file, Un-select it.

PicEngrave Pro 5 or 6 B&W Laser Engraving Instructions

It's in the Laser Options in the Dot Pix Laser profile. There are only two grbl 1.0c firmware versions (Multi-Mode & EmBlaser 1) that works properly with it. Either of them can be downloaded on this forum's main page.

Fine Line Automation CNC Router

I had my share of aluminum framed CNC router tinker toys and if I ever purchase a new CNC router, it will be this steel framed one made by Fine Line Automation. With over 45 years experience doing machine work, IMO It looks to be the best quality and value in CNC routers on the market today. https:/...
