Re: Continuously Jog

For now, until I can program a better solution, if you do have the G20/G21 issue again, or the continuous jog stops working, click the Close button after cycling the Metric check box to get back into G21 mode, then click the Open button and re-home the machine. I think this will be a temporary fix f...

Re: Continuously Jog

That is probably a grbl issue since the G20/G21 are modal, and PicSender will not / can not send either G20/G21 that is not in a gcode file. Safer to assure gcode files have the G20/G21 at file beginnings to prevent this. My testing so far seems to indicate switching back and forth Imperial to Metri...

Re: Continuously Jog

By chance, have you been clicking in and out on Metric mode at all? I can only make it act up here by doing that. If I start up already in Metric mode, I can not get it to stop continuous jogging in X/Y.

Re: Continuously Jog

What version of PicSender are you using? Ver. 3.4.0 is the latest. Even this should not matter.
Metric or Imperial? I ask so I can try and troubleshoot your issue.

Re: Continuously Jog

All you should have to do is check the 'Continuous Jog' box. Odd you are having this trouble. Maybe something wrong with PicSender install? Do you have homing and soft limits enabled on your machine? Neither is required for Continuous Jogging, but just helps to prevent slamming accidentally into the...

Re: Continuously Jog

Excuse me for being a little confused, but what only works on the Z axis? Continuous jog will work on all three axes. It will ignore increment settings in Z and X/Y.

Re: Continuously Jog

Continuous jog does not use the set incremental move setting. It is as the name implies, continuous. Just hold the button down to make the axis move, and let up to stop movement.
