First Success

Greetings,

Attached is my first good engraving using the 4096 step driver I designed. More tweaking is needed but it is getting close.

Sorry, I missed this post.

It looks very good, but it's more like a Dithered Black & White image that was TTL (pulsed) laser engraved instead of using the grayscale varied intensity method.

I am still learning how to tweak PEP5. it takes time and this working for a living thing keeps getting in the way of the fun stuff.
I will attach the original here so you can see what I was starting with.

I am beginning to see that the contrast needs to be much lower (whiter) than I would have thought

Ok, it's a pencil drawing, so not allot of shades to start with.
