Mercedes first steps

Hi all. My name is Ivan, i am from Ukraine. My English might be bad, i am sorry for that.
My first steps in PicLaser

Did you plan add option extended edges to PicLaser? It will be great if that option be in PicLaser.

Welcome to the picengrave forum. Your Mercedes engraving looks very good. :respect)

I noticed your min/max laser value range is large. What version of grbl firmware are you using? There is a J-Tech LaserMode grbl 9g Hex download on this forums main page that will execute S0-S255 commands in real time.

The extended edge will only be in our full version PicEngrave Pro 5 with the many other advanced features it has.

I use firmware: grbl_v0_9j_atmega328p_16mhz_115200
Laser value range large because if i set it max 255 the TTL will be only 1.2V.
May be i use bad GRBL settings? Can you give me advice?

Your grbl settings look fine, but the J-Tech LaserMode PWM grbl 9g executes the S commands in real time without any dwelling. The S command range is S0-S255 for 0-5v PWM. It will run the gcode smoother and give you better grayscale results.

Keep in mind, with grbl 9g, there is a setting where grbl 9j does not have, so it needs to be set with a $14=1 not $14=0.
