.20 Chipboard

Postby Edmcgarr » Mon May 16, 2016 2:26 pm

Came across this chipboard from Thunderbolt that says its as thick as 5 sheets of 20# PAPER. Used the Emblaser 4w with 110 feed rate, 255/12. Took 8hrs for this 10"x14". The original image is slightly blurred which is why its not that shatp.

Your on a roll Ed.

Did the chipboard start out white or brown? I noticed Amazon sells both. You discovered a new laser engraving material and I need to get some to try.

Thanks.
Jeff

I like how the brown chipboard engraves. I purchased the 46pt (.046"). Thanks for sharing this with us. 150IPM and 25% FRC with our 3W EmBlaser.

Thank you Ed. Now I need to see what I can do with my 6W LD engraver.
