Just wondering if anyone knows about transparent backgrounds with PicEngrave Pro 5. Last night I was working on a transparent .png file and saved it. the background was saved as black in the .jpg file and even the png was brought into the program with a black background. Do photos need to be cleaned up with a regular eraser tool with a white background to get the subject matter without a background?
This was for a magazine shot on birch plywood. Not that the black doesn't make the creature stand out, but it extended the job to 11.5 hrs at 70 feed rate for a 10"x11". Just wondering before I start playing with settings when I get home.
