G90 vs G91

Postby thetinman101 » Tue Aug 28, 2018 11:57 pm

I have upgraded my software to the latest and greatest and am now finding that I am having some serious issues wit the G90 and G91 setting. I will be working on a project that requires a bit change, I will change the bit and then go to re-zero out the Z axis and the machine will take off on a private mission, causing some very annoying and sometimes damaging results. Instead of bumping the router down a very small amount, the software will switch over to G90 and then drive the bit down into my wood, or I will attempt to bump the Z axis up and instead the Z will plunge down, despite hitting the Z up button. Also, with the G90, I am limited to one move only and then none of the X, Y or Z buttons will move the router.

My main question here, is to ask if anyone else is experiencing these issues and if so, is there and reason this is happening and what is the solution?

Thanks in advance for any input.
Regards
Tim

That was fixed in V2.9.0.2. Is that the version your running?
