Hi Jeff, yes it cut into it. I tried to get a different angle to show it. I've successfully done about a dozen projects and gotten relief surfaces.

Finally got some "Me Time" with the Emblaser 4w and made this 5"x5" Celtic Greenman on birch ply. 60ipm, .006, 255/0. Has a nice 3D look & feel. Now, on to a 12x12.

I agree, the brown is better. I LOVE the mansion picture! I'm doing a set of Halloween decorations for a guy and THAT would fit nicely.

I decided to see what would happen if I spray painted the chipboard I've been playing around with. This is the same silhouette, one plain and one with a light coating of white and then red spray. The painted board does kick up more soot which adds different aspect to the picture. 150 ipm, 255 max. ....

Playing with the Emblaser, I put the same photo to the test - Cut2D vs PEP5. Both on birch. Settings were basically the same with one pass for the Cut2D.
