Re: Issue with Probing

Please post the Quick Codes that you are using to cause this issue to occur. From your description it sounds like GRBL is maybe being changed from G91 to G90 mode. John Champlain EDIT: Sorry, I forgot that if trying to jog in g90 mode, PicSender should popup a warning message. So perhaps something e...

My apologies. I just found your post. There is no publishable update history. I do keep a private development detail history so I can backtrack reported bugs.

Re: Triquetra

Yes, it make zeroing your bit to your work piece much easier, and allows you to recover easier from some carving/machine mishaps.
You can also contact Charley Thomas directly for additional help:

Re: Triquetra

Bob, The Triquetra uses a standard gcode file to zero your bit to a work piece. There is no special "interface" required for using one with PicSender. I have used one since Charlie first started producing them. You can load the gcode file for your Triquetra into one of the QCodes positions...

Sorry, I have no experience with the OpenBuilds Blackbox controller. I do understand it uses a version of grbl 1.1, but don't know of any other users connecting it with PicSender. Perhaps you can get some help here:

Re: M03/M05 Button no longer works

Make sure you have at least 1000 showing in the PWM DRO (select 1000 in the drop down box under the S+ button, and click the S+ button). Then try M03. Did this turn on the spindle? There was a change to the code for laser operations that changed the M03 button action. Leaving 1000 in the PWM DRO sho...

Re: Rotary Axis

Thomas, PicSender has provisions for saving special rotary setups, but it does not calculate or change a user's grbl settings. As you questioned, to do rotary engraving will require a CAD program, such as VCarve to calculate the toolpaths. For the special grbl calibrations for rotary use, they will ...
